I believe it is important that people of all perspectives post comments to my blogs. The only ones I delete are the ones who try to sneak in advertisements. By including those of differing opinions, my readers can get perspectives of other readers of my blog. I am unable to identify the senders of the comments unless they identify themselves. Readers come from all over, including outside the USA. I try to provide information, and I spend a great deal of time to avoid directly stating my opinion. My objective is to provide information, and I understand that my readers may not always like the information I provide. I do not always agree with readers' opinions, nor sometimes do I find their "facts" accurate. However, if we read only those with whom we agree, we cannot broaden our prospectives. Even knowing how adamantly someone with whom you disagree can help you understand why things are happening as they are. The author of today's post is someone I would not have expected to be reading my blog, but I think he or she provides a perspective other Americans my feel.
